Chico is an artist living and working in Wiltshire. Born and raised in Warminster, he has produced a series of drawings based in the local area as well as subjects further afield.
His technique is driven by a love of landscape, buildings and water. Dissatisfied with the traditional technique of cross-hatching alone, he has experimented with different methods of recording textures and tone, finally developing and perfecting a pointillist technique.
Chico offers for sale his original drawings, prints and undertakes commissions.
I drew the Master Series as a set of drawings showing popular scenic locations near to Wiltshire in the south of England where I live. It also perfected the art of pointillism (drawings solely with dots) to provide subtle differences of tones and textures.
