A roots songwriter, writing folk, blues, country, even pop and jazz influenced songs and instrumentals with a sometimes sensitive, often dynamic fingerpicking guitar style.

Since the late sixties he has enjoyed a long and varied career appearing on T.V., radio, festivals, concerts, folk and acoustic clubs, pubs, coffee house/restaurants etc.

Sung in Nashville, Music City USA, including the world famous songwriters venue The Bluebird Cafe. In 2002 BBC Radio Wiltshire did an hour long special on his songwriting for BBC Music Live Day.

He is also a very experienced club and concert emcee.
